I have optimum and it keeps going up throughout the years. It's now at $98 plus taxes a month!!! I chatted online with them, and they said that's the cheapest option they have now. If anyone has them - Is that true? I saw what looked like cheaper plans for them online but the person I was talking to said they aren't current and what I have is the cheapest... I feel it's really expensive. Or is that just the price for internet these days? All I use it is for some simple browsing on a laptop...
Where can I get a cheaper plan?

If you're not using that much data, look into getting a wifi hotspot. If you have a phone that supports it, Google Fi is also a good choice, pay per gb. Boost Mobile I think is $50/mo for 50gb which is a lot. There are also plans down to $25 a month or so for less data.
