I've used this recipe before, which uses both cream cheese and cottage cheese. It's pretty good. Can also use a store bough graham crust if don't have time to make the crust in the recipe (although it comes out really good with it).

The key to get good cheesecake while using cottage cheese is to blend the cheese really well with eggs and sugar so no lumps remain!

I do one pound cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar 1 vanilla sugar. blend really well. This fits in one ready pie crust. The trick is not to overbake. I do 40 to 45 minutes on 350

Yes! This is my grandmother's recipe. I call it "guilt-free cheesecake" and I think it is delicious.
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
speck salt
1 1/2 Tbs vanilla or plain yogurt
1 1/2 lb cottage cheese
1/4 cup flour
Beat eggs w/ fork. Add the rest of the ingredients except flour and mix well, then add flour. Blend with hand blender until smooth. Pour into 2 round graham cracker pie crusts (or can bake plain without crusts, in two 9" pans or one 9x13). Bake at 325 until brown on top, around 2 hours. (I've experimented differently with the time but can't remember how and how it turned out.)
Enjoy!
