I don’t know if this is a thing.
If I have a bracelet or earrings or necklace with diamonds but I don’t like it, how much does it cost to redo it?
The diamonds are pricey, the style is just not my taste.
I’m in NY

Basically you want a custom piece just using the stones you have? You'd have to ask your jeweler for a quote it could be literally anything

you should be very careful who you give it to. I know someone who gave her diamond ring to re-set, and the jeweler switched it for another diamond of much lesser value. Make sure you're dealing w someone honest (if that still exists).

It depends on so many things, but I would think not less than $500 and not more than $2000.

I was quoted $1000 to turn an eternity band into flower studs.

My engagement ring was custom made with stones from 2 of my grandmothers rings for around $200.

It's not a ring.
I have a bracelet and earrings with large diamonds that I don’t like.
It's a pity because they were expensive
