Looking for suggestions for best options for classroom use.

I'm finding that the disposable masks are best for my students to hear me. I don't use a mike, but I've had years of practice in projecting my voice, so it's been working fine.
Another thing I've been doing is using more makeup on my eyes, the way you'd do if you were in a stage performance. It helps emphasize any facial expression I'm making.

Face shield is much better.
Try juggling dispo and wash...
Bring a fan turned just on you if you're too hot

We're not permitted to use a face shield; it needs to be a mask covering mouth and nose. Otherwise I would for sure use a face shield!

Try putting a face bracket under your mask-- it pulls the mask away just enough from your mouth that it makes speaking/projecting easier, without compromising safety.

Maybe get a mask with the plastic window?
And get a small mike to project your voice.

I find a mic is the way to go. I put it inside my mask against my cheek.

I'm worried that the plastic masks will end up looking foggy and gross.
I purchased a mic. Let's hope it works, because the problem is less about volume and more about clarity.

Disposable masks are less comfortable for me, but I will try to see if it makes a difference in how clearly they can hear me with the mike system.
