Apple sauce:

Caramelise sugar in saucepan (oil & sugar)
add water (not too much)
add apples peeled and cut
add cinamon powder
add a little clove powder
boil for about 15 min, till apples are soft.
blend with blender..

Just did it! Excellent!

Cook any fruit you want on a very low flame with a little bit of water.

- just Cortland apples
- Cortland apples with pears
- cortland apples with pears & plums
- plums, peaches, nectarines and apricots

These are some of our favorites.

I put a bunch of dried plums and apricots in a glass jar, cover with hot water from a teakettle, add a cinnamon stick if I feel like it, cover, refrigerate and let stand for several days till the fruits are reconstituted and the water is syrupy.

Shoutout to yogabird for this recipe:
Slice apples, or apples and pears. Put in pot or pan and add a bit of water. Bake or cook covered at low temp for 3 hrs. Turn off flame. Add a bag of strawberries, let sit for 10 min. Mix all together and chill.
