Last year I bought one and it shattered on Yom tov. I have an electric stove and oven so I can't use a basic aluminum blech.
I was referred to the yidtech one but couldn't locate in my area. So I bought the isra heat brand Firstly can it be placed on a granite countertop? Secondly any other info that maybe helpful regarding this please share

I love it. You can put it on granite, no problem.

I use my electric plata on Shabbos, on a granite counter top. On a 3 day yontif, I put a water blech on top of it, and that way I can take things on and off with no problems.
