Hi, There's a few meatballs recipe in that book. I will give you this one.
1pound ground beef
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 onion, grated
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. oregano
SAUCE
1 cup jellied cranberry sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
In a large bowl combine, ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, and seasonings.Form into 1- inch balls.
SAUCE: In a 3- quart saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over low flame 25 to 30 minutes. Stir often to keep smooth.
Add meatballs and simmer for 1 hour.
Enjoy

Do I need the oregano in this recipe? If I omit it do I use less lemon juice?

Oregano can be omitted. Use the correct amount of lemon juice.
