New house & don’t want to mess up the floor!
Desperately need to wash floor. Reading that Murphy & water is big no no.
What should I use and what’s the story with Bona? Worth buying the kit?
Please help!
Thanks

I’ve been using a bit of Murphy oil mixed with water to mop my wood floors for years. Love the results. Never heard not to

As posted, Bona Hardwood is an excellent way to clean and protect wood floors. Just follow the instructions. You actually spray on the mop and not the floor.
Grit is a killer of wood floors so vacuuming on a regular basis is just as important for longevity of floors as anything else.
Murphys is NOT recommended for cleaning any wood surfaces including floors or furniture. This is information I got from my installer as well as people knowledgable in care of wood furniture.
