I’m due to give birth soon and my husband is going to need non-mezonos/hamotzi foods to eat. The hospital doesn’t have any succah nearby. I need to bring him things that don’t need to be refrigerated!
My own list so far just includes- rice cakes, shehakol protein bars, applesauce cups.
Can you all help me brainstorm for more ideas?

Look up keto recipes- they use almond flour and coconut flour and xanthum- (the snack bars use almonds walnuts coconut and dried fruit) cakes cupcakes and crackers are amazing! And all shehakol! Personally the site which has given me great recipes is gnom gnom. Hatzlacha! It’s a different way to cook-bake - but really is great for your situation and for hikes on sukkot too- if you don’t eat mezonos outside the sukkah ! Have an easy birth!

Thanks for the ideas! I definitely have no time to bake the things now. I’m trying to finish up yom tov prep, and delivering on chol hamoed.
Any other ideas of prepacked and store bought things, please share!

So nice of you to be thinking of food for him. I'm due today... never thought of it, neither am I planning on.

I always pack food for DH in my bag. I’m in labor typically for over 24 hours. If he doesn’t eat he can’t really support me well and I don’t really want him to leave sometimes to find food.

I didn't pack anything... if I go into labor I'll switch into my crocs, and grab my purse. I assume the hospital has whatever I need. I don't know, haven't been at this stage before but not worried.
Also, my husband can't eat when under stress, so I doubt he'd eat anything regardless.

Trail mixes are probably best. Nuts, dried fruit and some chocolate. Mix them together or not.
Rice cakes with spreads are good too.
