I remember walking around in a department store with one of my sons. I think he was about 4 at the time.

We passed racks of ripped jeans, and he was incredulous. "Oh, they sell them like that? Surprised

" I told him, yes, and they were actually oftentimes more expensive than unripped jeans. He was incredulous. He said that until that point, he thought that people with ripped jeans were too poor to afford new pants.
