Is it ok if my baby sucks on an empty bottle? He doesn't take a paci so he usually sucks on it after he is done. Should I take it away or it's fine?

My pediatrician warns against this.
My kids also don't take paci and it can be annoying if they fall asleep with bottle in the mouth to have to pull it out after.
