On the counter - how many days does it last? I’ll reheat Friday night in the oven and shabbos day on top of crockpot. I don’t have much freezer space!

If I buy before Friday, I freeze it so that it’s fresh on Friday.

It depends on so many factors. The kind if challah you buy, the weather, whether anything gets spilt around it...
A day or two should be fine, it just won't be so fresh. More than that, even heated up it won't be so good. If its rock hard or green and furry avoid it.
