Yes. That was my grandmother's name. I had only boys since she passed away. Some grandchildren gave Ita, some Ita (plus a name they liked), some yehudis, or yehudis plus a name or esther plus and name.
Rabbi Dovid cohen said same derivative as esther and yehudis.

I know quite a few ita brachas. Not related to each other. Seems to be a common combination

Do they go by both names or just bracha?

Depends on exact lineage and intention given when your grandmother was named. We couldn't figure out whether my husband's grandmother was Itta with the intention of coming from Yehudis or Esther. She went by Edith. We couldn't use Esther or Yehudis anyway, so we used Itta as our daughter's middle name.

Interesting - my grandmother Ita also went by the name Edith. Never heard of the name being a derivative of Esther or Yehudis. Do you have a source for that?

I named a child Ita and I too was concerned about Esther, as it's a name I can't give. R' Chaim Kanievsky's sefer about names says it is from Yehudis, not Esther. This is as per my very emotional postpartum recollection of my husband's research, so double-check

Some Ettys are derived from Esther, but there is also a name Ettel (that's my sister's name).

The name עטיל is definitely not from Esther. It's from the non Jewish name Ethel of german origin.
