Any ideas for easy but pretty dessert cups to put out for a simcha?
I have pudding and whipped topping, but not sure how to use them to make an easy pretty dessert.
I was also thinking of making a trifle of sorts, but not sure what combo of cake and topping would be good...
Please help a lost Ima!

These chocolate cups are yum, and so easy!
175 grams baking chocolate
A small whip
1 egg
Melt chocolate in microwave,
Heat whip up in microwave,
Blend together (I use a handblender)
Cool for a few minutes,
Add egg and blend again.
Pour into cups.
Set in fridge, then freeze or keep in fridge.
Makes a mess but so easy!
I always double the recipe because it doesn't make much.
Eta: why the hug?!

I made mini trifles for a friend's sheva brachot recently. I made a chocolate cake, whipped up riches whip and crushed oreo style cookies on top. They were really simple but looked really pretty

Pudding with whip on top or mini trifles are both great options

Whipping the whip and adding pudding makes a nice mousse/ if frozen ice cream. (Learned that here on ima)
An idea I've been wanting to try is to make chocolate cups by painting muffin tins with melted chocolate, and serve the mousse inside with chocolate shavings on top.
As far as trifle goes, I've done dark forest style - hershey cake layered with whip and canned cherries

I thought dessert cups meant that the cup is edible, then I googled
Did you want recipes? Or presentation ideas? Or both?
Another recipe:
Small bag of frozen fruit (strawberries/ mango work best) fresh works too I think. But frozen is easier.
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
Blend all together with mixer until fluffy. (The fruit dissolves)
Serve like that or frozen.

something layered always looks nice, whatever it is.
I've done mousse-one layer light colored coffee, one dark chocolate and layered it. Also done layered jello with pieces of canned fruit inside, layered with cream.
And for both I've put chocolate shavings on top.

Thank you so much everyone !
If I want to make a cup of chocolate and vanilla pudding, what would be the best way to present it?

Make chocolate mousse(chocolate and whipped eggs)
Strawberry mousse (frozen strawberries, I whip and marshmallows fluff!) Good option if you dont use raw eggs.
Lemon mousse (can of lemon pie filling mixed with whip)
Depending on size of your cups you can crush graham crakers or any other type of cookies that match mousse!
Lotus cookies for lotus cream, crushed oreos for chocolate mousse...

I think you can layer and top with cream then chocolate shavings/syrup, and either berries, or a couple wafer rolls, mini cookies, a couple squares of chocolate...
Google images of pudding dessert cups for inspiration.

I’ve made alternating layers if chocolate and vanilla pudding. Really yummy and successful are mini pastry shells with pecan -chic chip pies filling. Really easy. I’ve also made mini cheesecakes with half of a sandwich cookie as the “crust” in cupcake liners.
You can also put half a cookie and then whipped topping and sliced strawberries, layered. Blueberries work too, even better with lemon pie filling and whipped topping layered.
