After many years, I am purchasing headboards for our beds. We have the 48" beds, and it seems that the measurements for full size headboards is 56.1 ". That sounds like such a difference - does it stick out? Am I looking for the wrong size?

Yes it does still out, and yes it looks kinda awkward. You have a Jewish size bed, and it's hard to impossible to find 48" headboards. Try buying from a Jewish store, or having someone make them for you.

Try vantpanels it's a great and inexpensive way to customize your headboard.
I think it's a jewish owned company. I used it for my bedroom and I am very happy.

You either get from a Jewish store or you have to order 54” knowing it will be bigger.
