Beit Shaul U Miriam on E22nd and Avenue S has a Jewish Library upstairs in a room past the ezrat nashim. It is open Friday afternoon and Sunday. There is a joining fee per year (I think its something like $18 per family).

how much do they charge? how many books can be taken out at once? do they have good hours?

Ahi Ezer on Ave S & E 7 has a library. They have hours on Sunday & afew days during the week. Also open 1 night a week.
It's $52 per year for a family. Allowed 10 books at a time.
They have a really nice, large selection
