Hahahaha... Totally false. But there is a guy who works with me and he has such nice handwriting I would make it a computer font if I knew how

A geek so someone who is extremely enthused about a specific topic. Today it's almost exclusively related to things considered a bit niche. Or like... Techie. Such as computers or science fiction. Fantasy. Etc.
However it would be totally grammatically appropriate to call someone a sports geek. Or a car geek. Especially if they know obscure trivia. And such.
A geek is different from a nerd bc a nerd is considered more bookish and perhaps more into useless and boring topics.
By the way.. OLUF is a Facebook group that stands for Orthodox ladies United in fandom. Where they talk about everything from tv shows, and movies to books and Pythagorean theorem.
Tpbm has a niche interest.
