Are there any hacks for using a ready made dough for hamentashen?

Roll it into log, if it's too soft, refrigerate a few hours. Cut into circles with a knife. You then just add the dollop of jam and fold it. Pinch the corners well so that it doesn't open. Use baking jam.

Thanks! That's a neat idea. Do you have a good recipe that would work for this?
Also anyone tried using any sort of ready made store bought dough that worked for hamentashen?

You can make savory hamentashen with flaky dough.
Full them with ground beef, spinach or mushroom, pastrami...

Try taking Sweet Loren's sugar cookie dough and either smush them all together & cut circles or smush each individual raw ball into a circle. Fill and bake. They're GF, too

If you live near a kosher bakery, they probably sell hamentashen dough.

I make a really easy dough that comes together in minutes. No mixer. Oil based. No refrigerator. It’s faster then going to store
Is that a hack?
Mix in a bowl;
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp Orange Juice
4 cups flour. (add more if too sticky, I normally end up using about 4 1/2 cups. When done the dough should be very workable)
Roll and shape into hamentashen.
