ds says he has 2 different sized feet. I bought him new shoes, but one fits well, and the other shoe is too big on him as I hear him dragging his foot.
in the past, I have always bought him same size shoes, and the bigger foot always tore through the shoe very shortly after, so I was buying him shoes often.
My son says he cant get the same size and doesnt want to go shopping if we dont have a solution.
anyone experience 2 different sized feet? what do you do?

There are companies that let you buy half pair shoes.
If you have access to fb you can ask on the beckwith wiedemann page- many people dealing with that.

Yes we do that. I don't know where you live but we get from clarkes, UK. They give us the 2nd pair for half the price but we have to pay for 1 full pair even though ds won't use one of the shoes my ds has a medical condition and his feet are 1.5 sizes different to each other! It's difficult, and expensive.

Buy 2 pairs of a shoe style they make every year
And next year you just need to buy one shoe to match last year's extra size.

Nordstrom has a "split shoe" program that lets you buy 2 different sizes. I heard about this from my mechateinista who had polio as a child and buys her shoes from Nordstrom.

I was just about to post about this!!
My 9yo son is size 2 on one foot and size 3 on the other
I wanted to put in half an insole to his size 2 foot, I can't find that on Amazon
Anyone know of a good one and can post a link?

I had 2 kids with that. I just bought the bigger size and put in 2 insoles, or 1 whatever was needed. Bh their feet caught up with each other and now they’re the same size

I had 2 different sizes growing up and always bought 2 pairs. We always shopped at the same shoe store so they gave us the second pair 50% off. Now as an adult I have a half size difference and I put in an insole.

I had this as a child. My mother always bought me two pairs of shoes and I wore one of each. Now I am the same size in each foot.
