Just curious, because I feel like it’s that time of the year... what items did you purchase since March over $300.

I ordered a trampoline for Pesach/ summer $500
New recliner $500

we are reconstructng part of the apt. I ordered a closet for 570 euro and feel bad about it . its beautiful but not huge - its for the kids room which is very narrow and hence I needed a special size (narrow and long closet) which came out to be far more expencive than the regular size.

same week I payed the workers and ordered meat for pessach- I literally spent one month sallery in 3 days and feel awful, b´´H moey is not super tight but im usually more frugal and not used to seeing money leave the account so fast.

I guess I need to grow up Smile and just realise that things cost.

Since March? No one item was that big.
Unless you count tuition or my grocery order.

My fridge just up and died, so we had to buy a new refrigerator in a rush... I’m having 12 people staying in my house...

Aaaaaaaaagh

(The worst part is I paid $300 for parts and labor to try and fix the old one but it stayed broken. Repair guy said “oh it takes up to 24 hours to reach full coldness” but it’s still not working. So I have a dead fridge with a pristine new motor 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Clothing for summer and YT for me and kids. Dh is bH very low maintenance. I didn’t calculate and I don’t shop expensive but it all adds up.

Dh gifted me a piece of jewelry for a milestone anniversary and baby around $3k

We’re going away Pesach- flights and house rental plus food and trips around $3.5 k

New (refurbished) oven, which is being delivered this week! Our old one exploded last week. Well, that’s kind of an exaggeration. The heating element burst and started an electrical fire. B”H we’re all okay and so is the house. Quite the eventful afternoon though. And yay for a new oven before Pesach!

Random big ticket item, none.

Pesach related, we've only bought matzos for now. Bought for us and my fil, paid it all, was around 1k.

That last part is the worst.

I posted above I’m also getting a new fridge. A friend asked me what updated model I’m getting. They include:

Not having to empty 2 buckets every 3 days in the fridge or risk having water rush down the fridge walls and scream like in Zaidy was young to get the towels and the mop.
Not having ice freeze over the freezer fan
Not having the fridge sing me to sleep at night.
It will have drawers that open
It will not randomly freeze food in the back of the fridge.

I’m so excited!
