Any packaged food can't contain raw eggs. They're either cooked or pasteurized.

They get mixed into the batter when raw, and then cooked as you bake the cake.

The cream filling had raw eggs in the recipe that was posted, I'm wondering if the real Zigelmans cake also has raw eggs in the frosting.

Mrs. Siegelman isn't Zeigelbaum or Zigelman. No way to know if that is her famous recipe.
