I wish them in the white wash using tide with bleach. No pre soaking. I hang to dry and don’t even iron. They stay white.

I use regular tide.
Wash in warm water (one before hot).
If I see stains, I wet them and rub in zote (pink bar laundry soap) and/or oxyclean spray.
Eta I only wash whites with whites

Wash only with whites. I use stain stick. Hard to find but amazing I wash on cold delicate. Squirt some oxi clean Palmolive dish soap in with the detergent and usually run 2 cycles in a row. The spray n wash stain stick not the spray. BH it's been getting mud and food stains out!

Wash only with other whites
Pre soak if necessary, and you can soak with lemon.
Spot clean
Use the exact amount of detergent not too much which also discolors whites
Use a detergent with bleaching tide + bleach
Add a booster
Use the hottest water
Do not dry if there is a stain when they come out.

My kids shout spray the collars and cuffs and stains as soon as they take it off to put in hamper. Then just wash with all my whites. Hot water, detergent and bleach.

I've never washed with bleach before because I'm worried that it will stain the next load of clothing. Has anyone had bleach stains on the clothing in a cycle after the bleach cycle?
(editing to add that I'm not the OP but I have the same issue with white shirts.)

Never had an issue. I just wash with straight bleach

Wash with only whites. Put oxiclean powder in every load of whites. Spray collar and underarms with stain remover

I pretreat with OxiClean spray or Shout spray and leave/let it set for 5 minutes. Then I throw the shirts into the regular load with other clothes and the stains are gone!

Wash with cold water and detergent first. I soak with nature bright for the kids shirts and I spray oxygen spray on the collars and cuffs of my husbands shirts. Then wash on hot cycle with detergent. Comes out stark white every time.

I use vinegar for stubborn smells. Never heard that it helps for stains.
