I'm hosting a purim seudah (friday) in my home. Does anyone have any ideas for nice decor, centerpieces that are in the purim theme? Or colors of plates, tablecloth etc...

a few years back a friend of mine who has HUGE seudas did a Clown'ish theme, she bought red plates, blue cups, pink forks, etc... you get the idea, that way the table was super colorful and also a little diffferent!

I was thinking of starting with a salad plate for everyone and then have a buffet of hot food. Since it's Friday people can fill up as little or as much as they need.
Anyone else??? Thanks

go to a party good store-they sometimes have cute ideas. my mom has a clown head that she puts on top of the wine bottles.
she once made grape theme-purple and green with grape napkins. the entree was green melon balls and looked like a bunch of grapes-4 in a row next row three...

You could do the theme around what people will be dressing up as e.g one year my parents had a lot of bachurim who all dressed up as sailors and my dad was a pirate so we did a sea theme with fish under the plastic tablecloth and on the walls and blue streamers from the lights and windows etc...

Op here. This is what I'm thinking.
Use white tablecloths and buy material with clowns on it. I will cut them into squares and use them as napkins or something else (anyone)? I was also thinking of making clowns on hard construction paper and laminating it. Then I would staple 3 clowns together (like a hamantashen) and use it either for the cutlery, additional napkins, flower holders...
What do you think?
