All I know is Chava and Shalom have the worst communication skills I have ever seen (or read). Shalom just acts mysterious and doesn't reveal important details, and Chava just cried and goes to sleep.

Chava went to talk to Erez, who assured her that being thrown into solitary doesnt mean Shalom did anything bad. They can get thrown in for any reason. And Chava goes home, is exhausted and the bell rings, it's miri! surprise! showed up unannounced! at that very moment, the phone rings and it's shalom.... but of course.

I happen to know this couple personally, Shulem is my mothers friends neighbors cousin, and Chava is my cousins, friends, neighbors, aunts niece.
They are such nice people IRL.
