I charge my Android phone overnight, and by the morning, it's at 100%. By late morning its almost dead.
Is the issue the charger , the battery or the phone?
The battery is a few months old.
How do I avoid my phone battery draining so fast?

Sounds like either the phone or the battery. Few questions:

1) are you sure you don't have any background apps draining your battery throughout the day?
-turn off location for the day and see if that helps
-turn off bluetooth unless you're actively using it

2) when you say the battery is a few months old, do you mean that it's actually a new battery or do you mean that the phone itself is new? Just double checking
-if the phone is new, there might be a warranty
-if just the battery is new, there might also be a warranty

Are you using the right kind of charger? I had that issue when the charger wasn’t working properly. It was an extra one I had gotten from the dollar store and the phone showed it was charged when it really wasn’t.

To add to the above...

Is there an app running that's draining your battery?

Are you in an area with poor reception? Constantly searching for a tower drains the battery as well. (I usually put my phone in airplane mode if I'm in that situation)

You should be able to turn it to low power mode or turn your lighting to the lowest setting for longest battery usage.
Also make sure the charger you are using is compatible with your phone.

Try this: going to settings > battery > usage history

Over there you can see what apps drain the battery.

Thank you all!
What happened was that I had a phone that started acting strange, so I took it into the shop, and they said the phone is under qarranty and they will gove me a new phone for free
So I got a new phone, but it came without a battery! My old battery was ruined, so I ordered a new one from Amazon.
So that is why I said my phone and my battery is a few months old.

I shut off location.
Meanwhile it's not yet 2:00, and I'm on 4%. , whoops 3%.

Ok, is it possible the battery you bought is defective or not high quality?

What was the battery life like in the your original phone? Is the new one the same model?

I don't know. I just bought any battery from Amazon that fit into my phone. The people at the store helped me find the right one.
I didn't have problems in the beginning.

Go back and tell them you need a matching battery with your phone. It doesn't make sense that they would replace the phone but not the battery, and make you buy a new one yourself

They said that when the phone is a replacement phone, It comes from the insurance. So it doesnt include a battery.

I was always told not to charge over night, since it charges too long. I'm not sure if that's true FWIW.

Can you close other apps? Camera, open Internet searches, etc, and lower the screen light intensity?

My phone has in settings an option called device maintenance where you can check which apps are using your battery. It gives you different options to help optimize battery life.

But it sounds like you may need a new battery.
