Officially I don't cover but unofficially I wear a long-tail pre-tied.
They are quite comfy if you wear them right, like a little back at front and not too far back at bottom.
They are much prettier in my opinion and look better than chenilles if you have lots of hair

I also wear a sheitel all day.
Sometimes I take it off while cooking supper and then put it back on. I like the idea of being all dressed up for when my husband comes home (I'm not a newlywed) Everyone's got to do what works for them and their marriage.

Pre tied bandana-short tail.
I wish they'd make bandanas with longer tails that properly fits a shaven head.
I lately did find and actually bought with a bit longer, I'd like even longer
Can you see I really love tails?

Besides the Cherie brand, where are people getting long tail pre-tieds? I never can find them in stores (and I am in NYC).

Chenille
Self tied triangle tichels
Long tail pretied
I actually don't find the chenille to be the most comfortable. But they're easy.

The chenilles are the easiest and most comfortable for me but I don’t like how I look in them. If I have company and I don’t feel like wearing my wig, I tie a scarf (triangle).

Regular square Tichel that I tie myself.
To me it’s the most comfortable and look the nicest. Snoods are so round on the head - like a big elastic -would give me a headache

I think the long tail would attract too much attention it's long.
I'm a turban wearer though.

Turban! But...I’m from another generation
I find it the most comfortable because nothing is hanging on my neck and there is no elastic

Most posters here are not from KJ but anyways there are 10 of us turbans so far. Even there, where chenilles are assured, many young ppl wear them. I think they are more common in Williamsburg though and there are a lot of Monsey and BP people and not even chassidish on the site. Also the site trends young. I don't understand the appeal of a chenille and wouldn't wear one even if it was not assured, unless everyone and I mean literally everyone one.

Snoods were only forbidden by certain Chassidush Rabbanim because they felt that some women would stop shaving when wearing them, there is nothing wrong with a snood as a head covering. They were just concerned about the shaving aspect.
And actually there are Rabbanim that prefer the snood to the wig, saying that a snood looks like an actual head covering and a wig does not

I wear turbans...have many in several colors and velvets too...and I’m NOT chassidish... I think for me it’s a sensory issue

Why would they stop shaving if they wore a chenille snood?

Because it covers the head and it doesn't show a shape.
The bandana on the other head is flat and you can't really hide a pony although some do and there's a bump.

Have you ever been to any of these places? Snoods are worn by an overwhelming majority that keeps growing
