I asked my teen daughter to pick up some knee socks for my six year old today. She called from the store to ask about the European sizes. She said she had socks size 32 - 35. I googled and found a chart that said they were a child size 12 - 1. Well, when she brought them home, they looked large, like maybe for a 10 year old, and they say 32-35 European, 8 - 9 American. I am totally confused. How does JRP sizing work with the knee socks? Thank you

You received incorrect information. What size shoe does your daughter wear (American)? I'll help you convert to the European shoe/sock sizes.
Socks that fit shoe sizes 32-35, fit feet that wear American sizes 2-4 shoes.

Find socks that fit shoe size 28-29.

Do you think the 8-9 on the sock label is for age? Like a 9 year old would likely wear a size 32-35 sock?

8-9 is their random size that they go by. Don't use that as your base. See above chart.

I find that I need to size down with the jrp knee socks. The jrp short socks are mostly true to size.
