At what age do babies hold bottle

My first never held his bottle. Just wondering when infants normally can hold it and if there’s a way to encourage it?

to my understanding it’s not a skill. It’s not a developmental
Thing it’s personality. My babies don’t do it till well over a year. I also think it’s relevant that my babies are exclusively formula fed so I also
Think they just want the cuddles.

My first bunch of kids by 6 months all did.

My current baby is 8 months and has zero interest is holding the bottle. It's so weird for me to have to stop everything to feed her. I know it's a good thing but ya.... Hiding
