Need Lakewood Pediatrician who charges less than $85 to check ears- We just moved to Lakewood and still have New York Medicaid. Shanik wants $85 to look at ears. Any ideas? 2 other lakewood (Indich, Gittleman) Pediatricians arent taking new patients at this time.

why don't you buy the ear checking device which will tell you if ur baby really has an ear infection or not.
As far as I know pediatricians in lakewood are quick to prescribe antibitics.

Dr. Ukrainchick (at Dr. Gittleman's practice) is fine with kids riding out ear infections if the child isnt miserable etc. He said that most of them are viral anyway so the meds wont help...

Iforgot to mention, there is a new medical center in lakewood which opened in february- CHEMED - in the old jamesway - gp's, pediatricians (dr. eilenberg from bklyn joined) etc and will work with people no matter which insurance they do (or dont) have.
