I'd love to give a little something for the rav and rebbetzin of the shul for shavuos. It's a new shul and they just moved to the neghborhood. Is that a thing. I'm wondering if others do this as well. And if so what.

Yes. You can give food, fruit platter, flowers, or returnable gift like tablecloth.
