Vacation ideas for older adventurous kids

Need some fresh vacation ideas that appeal to an adventurous 10 year old but will also appeal to younger siblings. Trying to plan around the 10 year old because the others are really happy anywhere. Preferably within 4 hours driving of NJ. Prefer dry land vs. water activities.

How old are younger siblings? Can they hike? Walk?do you need a stroller?

What about coal mine in Lackawanna? Is that adventurous?

Rickets glen is amazing hike. I did it with 5 kids 11 and under. Youngest was in baby carrier. Was gorgeous and very exciting. But a little scary at some points.

Jiminey creek - ropes courses and family activities

Tour underground caves

Lake Tobias animal safari - go out in open car look at animals.
Nearby is old wooden ferry to cross water.

Not sure which categories he’d find adventurous.
