My baby is one and is showing sensitivity to milk, what substitute is the best?

Try ripple- pea based milk with hechsher. Has original, vanilla, chocolate flavors. Usually can find in target, maybe keyfood.

You don't need a milk per se. Just be sure you are serving foods with protein, fat, calcium.

I like oat. I find it the most similar to cow milk in taste and texture.

I use ripple, initially mixed with red milk so my baby take the taste and then now give full ripple. It has protein and vitamins like milk. A lot of big box stores carry it.

At age 1 I gave DD fortified Rice Dream (make sure you get the fortified version with extra vitamins in it.)
I also gave her healthy fats like avocado and olive oil. She's lactose intolerance, but I didn't want to give her lots of soy products, so I had to get creative. Parve coconut ice creams and yogurts worked well.
