my husband got a boat club membership. We went one time and and my tichel ended up flying off from all the wind. I grabbed a sunhat I brought and quickly put it on and held on to my hat for dear life for the rest of the trip. not so enjoyable. think maybe I should buy a different hat. any ideas? links would be great. my husband ended up wearing a baseball cap so might try that with a workout bandana underneath but would be open to other ideas....

Wear a wide "wig grip" velvet band under your tichel. Trust me, it won't be going anywhere!
I take care of babies who love to pull tichels off. I learned the hard way.

Tichel but use a couple Bobby pins or clips by each temple to keep it secure

I just bought a baseball hat that comes with a wrap attached to it. Hosiery by honey sells it. My hair is so fine and thin that it's quite roomy for me. But it seems like even long and thick hair can handle this. Enjoy!

I wear a wide-brimmed straw hat tied with a scarf under my chin. Some hats have grommets for a scarf or lacing; if the hat has no grommet and it's old, I'll cut a hole in it for the scarf, but you could sew the scarf into the hat if you prefer.
