How do I wash hand knitted baby clothes... they're not soiled or dirty just worn a few times.

I’d Just wash in cold water with gentle detergent. Soak a few minutes. Then use a towel to gently soak up extra water. And line try or lie flat to dry.
Also, depending on the yarn, you may be able to wash gentle cold in the washing machine. Several hand knitted things my mother made my kids I just wash cold gentle and hang dry.

If you hand wash, make sure you rinse the detergent out well, as the residue could degrade the fibers. If you wash in the machine, I find it best to use a mesh lingerie bar. To dry, I suggest lying flat and gently reshaping.
