anyone got a easy salad dressing for plain green lettuce. I would like one with no honey, but sugar is no problem.

I like this one. It goes really well with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and salad croutons, but can be used for lettuce alone.

I NEVER measure. I am only approximating. You have to try and taste.

mayonnaise (about 2 TBSP) (mix the mayo by itself so it'll be smooth when you mix it w/ the other ingredients)
sugar
garlic - fresh,crushed (depends how garlicky you like your dressing. I usually use one small clove)
a bit of sugar sprinkled, to make a THIN layer on top, across the mayo
a small squeeze of lemon juice

mix all ing. together. Add more ing. according to taste.

I never use any sugar in my salad dressings

Squeeze 1 really juicy lime (theyre cheaper than lemons, usually, and I looove them) over the salad bowl.
Grind (or shake on) black pepper and kosher salt (the coarsness keesp the salad from wilting)
U can add a shake of garlic powder too.
dribble on a few Tablespoons of olive oil
Toss and serve. YUMMY!

recipe 1:
oil (or you can leave it out)
splenda/sugar
vinegar
garlic salt
soy sauce

recipe 2:
mayo
vinegar
sugar or splenda
bit of water
dill
salt

oil, lemon juice a bit of sugar and black pepper and some salt... or mayo and ketchup spices and some water to thin it...
