With lots of experience and making yourself a valuable employee you can earn that amount in the frum tri state area The starting pay is way lower though. I would say the pay scale for billing is quite similar to secretarial/administrative assistant work.

A good SNF biller is extremely important to the company. I do recruiting in Chicago and companies are willing to pay very well for this. They are trusting you with their revenue. A biller who does a poor job is a liability. Average salaries here are around $30 an hour. Lakewood seems to pay more over all so 35-40 seems reasonable to me.

You're thinking full time. Most from women are working on a family friendly schedule so the annual pay is less
