Hello Ladies!

We are having a baby girl very soon, please God. We do have a few family names we could give, but for various reasons, we don't think we'll use them.

We'd love to find a name that resonates with this time of year.

Any ideas?

Amen amen amen!

Thank you all for beautiful suggestions!

I think we might have hit on the name last night.

Anyone named their baby girl Moriah? I love it, I just think it might sound kind of old.

LOVE the name but hesitated to has it because it sounds like Mariah. Plus, while I've seen it on this site and on baby name lists, I've never met or heard of anyone with this name.

I know a few religious girls and women named Moriyah.
If it suits you, great.

In Israel, Moriya is probably one of the most common names for DL girls, aged 0 - 40. Along with Tehila and Hodaya.

It's a beautiful name and I really love it.
