there is the homewood suites in teaneck which is very close to american dream

In Teaneck there is the Glenpoint Marriot, and across the street is a Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn (in the same building) they are quite new.
They are about $200/night +/- $20.
It depend are what you are looking to do. Overpeck Park is a stones throw from the hotel. Google it and see if the offerings are of interest. No idea what to recommend as I don’t know your interest or age of travelers.
