Can anyone recommend a cute/fun/nice place to stop for 1-2 hours on the way (about halfway) from Brooklyn to Catskills?

There is a kosher gas station on the Palisades about halfway up. That isn't an hour so go to Galleria mall and do arcades in Round One.

The castle. Arcades and much more a little north of monsey.

Ruach chaim park next to monroe- fantastic!
