She was recently weaned
We switched formula brands
She recently started eating oatmeal cereal
She’s just six months now
I’m going to ask her pediatrician at her next appointment but until then….
Thanks!

Maybe the formula is high in iron? What shade of green? If it's dark and a good consistency, I wouldn't be so worried.

Poop changes when they're no longer breastfeeding. When formula and solids are introduced, stools become dark and smelly.

Right but shouldn’t it be more brown then green?

My baby had the same thing. It’s a combination of formula and a tiny stomach. I was told that it wouldn’t have been like that had I nursed her. I had never seen anything like that before. It’s definitely the formula. She’s big now and totally fine.

Can be the iron from the baby oatmeal cereal.
Unless it's diarrhea, which could be an allergy.

Thanks. Wondering if I should switch back brands?
When I nursed here, it was yellow and seedy which is just as gross FWIW, so don’t feel bad.

I didn’t switch formulas since she was gaining nicely. I was definitely thrown off by the color and I remember that she was extremely gassy. Once she started eating food the color changed somewhat. When I stopped the formula it became regular brown. There is nothing wrong with your baby.
