When my dd was about 6, we were on our way to a kiddush, and she said to my younger dd,
“ remember, before we eat something, we have to say Mazel Tov to the person who is making the kiddush”

I love this thread!
My 15 yr. old daughter had a tough decision to make. It was weighing on her, so she went to the Kotel to daven that she makes the right choice.

Isn’t it incredible how the things we pride ourselves on most in our children are middot and mitzvot? Not one mom commented on her child׳s talent or external accomplishment.

When I brought my 14 year old and out of town cousin to the camp bus leaving to sleepaway (her cousins mom was not there) she whispered into my ear as we were hugging good bye to hug her cousin too. I thought that was so sensitive and sweet

I'm an immigrant to Israel and my son is in Hebrew gan. A few days ago he said "matok sheli" to his sister (my sweetie). I rarely speak to him in Hebrew and never call him "matok sheli" so they must be calling him that in gan. Warmed my heart.
