Hi,

I'm looking for the recipe to glaze a cheesecake. I want to cover it with sour cream mixture, not the crumbly kind.

Anyone?

Thanks!

But how much of each? Just mix and smear on top with fork? I have quite a few cakes to glaze, need to warm up glaze first, or no?

I'm going to put my kids to bed now. bli neder when I'm done with that I will look up the recipe. if you need it sooner, ask someone for the recipe of the glaze of the satmar rebetzin's cheese cake. it's heaven.

Thanks loads squash!

I baked my cakes already - and froze them. Can I put the glaze on the frozen cakes, and them pop in oven for 7 minutes?

I want to decorate them with fruit... When do I put those on? After the 7 minutes? Before? Refreeze with glaze and then?

Thanks!

In bakeries you usually find the fruit embedded in a glaze, and that keeps the fruit from shifting. You could do a jello/fruit glaze at home.
Why do you need fruit on the cakes?

Yes, I am doing a glaze, but my question is when the fruits go on it. Before you bake the glaze, after? Do I need to freeze or refridge it afterwards?

I'm giving the cheesecakes for shaloch manos, and decorating w/ fruits according to my theme...
