I'm sending my baby to playgroup for the first time tomorrow. She's not my first and by my older kids I was back at work even earlier. But I have a different kind of connection with her, I don't know why, and I'm sitting here way too late at night sobbing over her bed that I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.
Just had to share that with someone, I don't have anyone irl who gets it.

I totally get you. My baby is also starting next week and he was always home with me. I never sent so early but he needs it desperately. I can't take it. I'm going crazy.

I need to go to sleep, I have work tomorrow for the first time in 11 weeks but I can't. I'm just a mess of tears and I want to just hold her close to me forever

I feel you! I’m sending my first to a babysitter next week. He’s 5 months old but I’ve been home with him and he only nurses and sleeps with me... I’m so nervous about his adjustment to taking naps without mommy and everything

What’s the childcare ratio? Is it a place where she will get her physical and emotional needs met? Please due your due research. Unfortunately there is so much neglect in playgroups:(

Those are your instincts talking, it's only natural. Leaving a baby with strangers is not natural.
