If you donĀ“t have your child in nursery during the month of August but they are still open do you have to pay for that month? Taking in to consideration that you pay monthly for the whole year and will take them back in September.

Check with the school financial office - I don't think they will give you a choice about following their rules.

actually in some schools here in mtl you do have to pay. my friend was complaining about it to me. the school explained to her that it's a yr's total.

My sons' yeshiva gives you a total price. They then either divide it into 10 or 12 months. Many people choose the 10 month pay schedule - this way when the summer comes around and you have to pay for day camps, you'll only have one bill.
