My three year old has multiple loose stools a day since over a week.
First he had a random bout of diarrhea two shabbosim ago, then was fine for a week and had a stomach virus after Yom Kippur. Vomiting and diarrhea for about 24 h and was fine after bH.

After about a day of regular stool he went back to going about 3-4 times a day and it’s very loose. He is acting totally fine. Eating drinking and no fever.
I am getting low key freaked out about it since it’s just been so long.

It can’t be normal . I should get him to the doctor to get tested for allergies or something. He’s my first child I don’t know what it could be but he looks pale to me and even though he’s acting fine we’re super worried.

Any advice? WhT could this be?

Diarrhea is a major symptom of covid in little kids. Has he been exposed recently?

Try cutting out milk for a few weeks. Kids sometimes get temporary lactose intolerance after a stomach bug and need to let it heal

You should also be giving him probiotics if you aren’t already

Having a stomach virus can wipe out the good bacteria from the intestines and irritate the lining of the stomach. My pediatrician says to keep off dairy for 2 weeks after a virus and you should definitely do probiotics.

We just had an experience like this and ended up in the ER and admitted to the hospital. They ran multiple tests and it turned out it was parasite Giardia...worth asking ped if would do stool sample.

Had the exact same thing with my 3 year old and 2 year old, started Rosh Hashanah. The doctor said it's a virus, just has to run it's course. Not sure where you live but he said it's going around Brooklyn
