Is there any way to get back the pleats? It’s a long knit type material skirt, pleats were a bit flown/loose and now it’s an a line skirt! Washed in cold water hand wash cycle

bring the garment to a professional dry cleaner and ask them to restore the pleats. It'll cost you, though, since the garment has to be pleated from scratch. Only you can decide if the cost is worth it, since obviously you'd also have to dry-clean it from now on to retain the pleating. You could also ask the tailor to stitch down the pleats to hip level, which would make the skirt tighter but would make permanent the basic illusion of loose pleats.

It won't ever be quite the same. If the tag says it can be washed, make the seller refund you.
