I tested hamburgers with a meat thermometer. It read fully cooked. I then checked a minute later again and it showed they weren't fully cooked. I'm nervous because I already tried one.

As it sits, the temperature drops. I'm sure it was fine, especially if you didn't sense that you were eating raw meat.
