Preferably with no margarine
Or an edible play dough recipe.

From Bais Yaakov 2
Never fail sugar cookies
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup margarine (we used oil, came out fine)
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat to 350.
In mixer cream sugar, salt, oil.
Add egg vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
Mix flour and BP and add to dough.
Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut shapes. Bake 9-10 min (12-15 for us) or until light brown around edges. Let cool. Store airtight container.
Enjoy!
We made a conf sugar + water icing and added sprinkles. Easiest fanciest cookies we ever made

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
2 T orange juice
4 cups flour (add more until not sticky. Sometimes an additional 1/2 cup)
Mix all ingredients. Roll and cut with cookie cutters. Bake 350 for 9 minutes.
