Is this considered dark? Pen and stuff would definitely show.
My room is kind of dark so I'm looking for something light ideally. Also those plastic tablecloths are way too busy for me. Maybe I just need to go back to the old fashioned thick clear table cover.

Looks cute in black.

There are a lot of color options. I have the darker colors. They don't show too much, but I do have to wipe off pen and marker sometimes.

Gosh can't believe I didn't notice this.

My table and chairs and seforim shaffe are dark brown. That's why I usually went with creams etc to lighten the room.

If it's all scratched already why does it need to be covered?

I was thinking of this thread this morning because my kids colored all over my tablecloth with pen and using plain water and scrubbing did nothing. I used Krud Kutter and it all wiped right off. It's non-toxic. Hope that helps someone!

Instead of trying to keep the table pristine during the week, maybe think of using your kid's artistic skills...

These tablecloths are meant to color on and are washable: https://www.amazon.com/eatslee.....;th=1

They come with washable markers.

Formica makes a dry-erase laminate that could be glued to 1/4" plywood and used as a table cover: https://www.formica.com/en-us/products/mrkbrd
