How do I cook my frozen kishka properly in cholent?

It’s homemade frozen. Right now it’s in a grease proof paper and I wrapped it in foil.

When do I put it in the cholent. It usually Dries out and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

It could be the recipe is too dry. The only way to avoid that issue, if that is the case, is to unwrap it and submerge it completely in the cholent. Understood, this would incorporate it into the cholent. You could try it wrapped, deep in the cholent.
If it is NOT inherently too dry, put it in right before shabbos, frozen, lay it at the top of the cholent, wrapped without foil, but submerged as much as possible.
